Buying Support Tights To Wear?

When you begin to look around you can see that the options for support tights are numerous. There are a number of factors which could determine which type of support tights to wear, so for a few of these, read on.

Support tights are, as the name suggests, more supportive than regular tights. They exert pressure on the leg to help make an improvement in your blood circulation and to prevent or control varicose veins, which are caused when the connective tissue surrounding the veins is weak. The extra pressure in support tights helps to support the connective tissue, and as such helps to increase blood circulation and prevent varicose veins.

Support tights typically come in three groups of light (factor 6), medium (factor 8) and firm support (factor 10). They may also come in higher levels. The level and factor you go for will depend on a number of things, from how much you’re on your feet to whether you have a problem with your legs for varicose veins.

You may find it helps if you wear support tights if your legs ache when standing a long time. If you’re only just noticing the problem, or if you’re young, light support is typically sufficient. It is not just people with problems that can benefit from wearing support tights, anyone who wants to give the impression of slimmer legs may choose them.

However, if you’ve had the problem for a while or if you’re already noticing the beginnings of varicose veins in your legs, then you might consider going for medium support to give support for your legs. Support tights may be able to stop or at least help with tired leg problems.

If you already suffer and have a lot of problems from varicose veins or poor blood circulation, firm or extra firm support it advised. They’ll give the best support possible and will ideally stop the pain that can be caused from varicose veins because of the extra pressure exerted keeping everything in place.

One point to consider is that varicose veins (or the problem that causes them, i.e. weak connective tissue) often run in families. If you have this extra propensity yourself, it may be wise to consider investing in a pair of light support tights even if you haven’t noticed a problem yet.

You should also consider your lifestyle and daily activities when deciding which factorto go for. Some days you may need a stronger level of support than others, for example if you’ve got some travelling to do or you’re playing sport, whereas if you’re sitting in an office for most of the day light support will probably be sufficient.

Support tights can usually be a great help to sufferers of varicose veins or aching legs. Make the right choice and your legs could be healthier.

Is There Some Types Of Stocking And Tights More Flattering For Curvaceous, Shapely Legs?

admin

With the many different types of tights on the market today it is not hard to find some that are more flattering than others. If you’ve got fabulous curvaceous legs and want to know what to wear to make them look their best, here are a few hints.

If you have long beautiful legs then why not show them off to their best advantage. Of course if you want to show them off in the best possible light, it’s wise to go for matte versions rather than those with a high gloss tights or sheen effect. Shiny material reflects light and draws attention to the areas that light hits, which isn’t always what you want to do if you’re particularly curvaceous. Matte tights are more slimming and can help to visibly smooth your body, so it would be wise to go for this type over shiny versions.

In a similar vein, extremely bright colours are probably best avoided. This will only bring attention to the leg area, and if you’re looking to make them appear slimmer then bright colours will generally not be your friend.

Stockings and hold-ups are probably best avoided too, unless you’re sure that your outfit can accommodate them. If your skirt is higher than the band of the stocking, while it can sometimes look sexy, it may cut your legs off at a particularly unflattering place rather than leaving you with the smooth, sleek silhouette of tights.

Support tights on the other hand may come in useful for anyone that wishes to flatter their legs. It used to be considered that only old people with unsightly legs would ever dream of wearing support hosiery, but this is no longer the case. Support tights can slim legs and make them even more beautiful.

Manufacturers have taken this one step further, and have brought out control tights. Similar to support tights but more for the body-con market, they too support your legs in all the right places and even offer extra support in the hips and waist area as well. Some tight desingers claim to make you appear a dress size smaller. It saves many weeks on a diet.

Another great hint of ours is to invest in a pair or two of caffeine tights. They not only look great but also claim to shave cms off your legs when wearing them.

As you can see, there are a number of you might choose to go for to flatter shapely, curvaceous legs. With this in mind take a look around and see what type of tights might suit you better.
