1 One of the first things you should do while creating   email lists, is make sure you have a good landing page that is properly designed and professional looking. You can hire somebody to do this for you, if you  don’t have any design or artistic ability  

2.  What you should do now is create a web form on your landing page, offering your prospects the opportunity to optin to your mailing list. Make sure you are giving something away free to encourage them to subscribe.

3. The subscribers to your list will evaluate the worthiness of your services and products based on  the free stuff they receive. For this reason alone, make sure your freebies are of the peak calibre.

4. Your prospects are expecting to read selective information of interest and are expecting  substance not just a sales pitch. Make sure you include professionally written content that is beneficial to your subscriber list. A fantastic way to build trust and loyalty is through good content sites.  Build a website rammed with good content articles and helpful information.Then from your website create a link to your sales page. 

5. When you tell your prospects or customers that you will not share their personal information, don’t. Word spreads fast on the Internet and the last thing you want to do is ruin your reputation.

6. If you plan on giving away or selling an ebook,  make sure it has mass appeal and will benefit the target audience you plan to market it to. When offering a product it is a good idea to try the product yourself if possible, at the very least research the product on the internet.  Provide products that are of high quality from reputable suppliers or affiliate programs.

7. Good customer service is the best way to stay ahead of the game.  If your customers and prospects are happy and you answer their complaints and questions right away with a resolution, gaining their loyalty and trust will be inevitable.

8.  A great way to build loyalty and trust is by rewarding your customers that refer others to you.

9.  Have integrity, be honest and be yourself,  you will do well working on the internet and building a list.
